Both rooms we saw were clean, the AC worked, and when we asked to move because our first room’s TV didn’t work, staff quickly got us into another one. The first room also had missing artwork, with chunks of wall missing where it had been removed. Check-in was straightforward, and the person at the desk wasn’t rude. There’s a sign saying new management. I booked this place on my trip out west and back, while dropping my daughter at college, because I wanted the pool and hot tub for my sore back. They were “being worked on.” A damaged, ripped, stained sign at the desk makes me think this has been going on a while, with no sign of being finished. In my opinion, the pool and hot tub should be taken off the listing. The lot looked abandoned, with weeds and trash everywhere and an open, overflowing dumpster. The stair carpet was filthy and had holes in the drywall beside it. It hasn’t been cleaned. The free breakfast was scary. Frozen eggs, chicken patties, and waffles were left on the counter for guests to microwave themselves, not on ice for proper food storage. I wouldn’t trust them. They also had milk and cereal, some bread, mini muffins, and coffee, but no juice. This was the worst hotel of my budget-friendly trip. I won’t be back, and I’d say buyer beware. It’s under new management, so maybe things will improve.

The service was great, and the hotel had everything we needed. But the place smelled musty and dusty, and the hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in ages. Our room wasn’t bad, though the walls had paint chips and one of the “clean” towels had what looked like blood splotches. The air unit’s filter was so dirty we had to take it out to get the heat working efficiently. The rest of the room looked like it hadn’t been occupied or properly cleaned in a while. For somewhere that says it’s under new management, they may want to rethink things.

The location would have been perfect, but the property was filthy. There were bugs in the room, mold on the lampshade, water-damaged ceiling tiles, and a stairwell that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. As soon as I walked into the room, I went back to the front desk and asked for a full refund. I should’ve taken pictures to show how disgusting it was. Find another hotel and don’t waste your time.

We couldn’t shower because the shower wouldn’t turn on, only the bathtub. We paid an extra $30 for a jacuzzi room, but after filling it for two hours the water was still freezing. The jacuzzi won that fight. We left the window open to air out the room, which smelled like feet, mold, and something I can only imagine was asbestos. There was no breakfast or pool, and every vending machine was out of order. The front desk and entrance smelled gross too. We tried calling the desk several times during the night about all these problems, but the short Indian woman at the desk ignored the phone until I went down and demanded an answer. We reported this and more to the manager, who said she’d ask the owner to call. The owner never did. Don’t stay here. I’m calling corporate to take this further.
