My review is about what happened, and I didn’t try to make staff “the villain.” I did not stay at your hotel. I relied on the public Google Maps listing, which called the charger a Tesla Destination Charger and marked it “open 24 hours,” with no visible notice that it was for guests only or had restrictions. I wasn’t told over “several days,” and I didn’t repeatedly ignore staff. That’s simply inaccurate. When someone told me it was only for guests, I left immediately and didn’t refuse to go. Police did get involved, instead of anyone giving a clear sign or a simple, professional explanation at the start. That escalation concerned me, not the existence of a guest policy. Offering to charge $30 per day afterward doesn’t resolve it, especially for a destination charger advertised publicly and visibly in poor condition. If it’s private, guest-only, or fee-based, that needs to be stated clearly in the listing and on site.

EV drivers should steer clear of this place. I briefly came to charge because the Tesla Destination Charger is listed publicly on Google Maps, branded as a Tesla charger, and advertised as open 24 hours. The unit was visibly worn and missing parts, a junky, possibly half-functional piece bolted to the wall that shouldn’t be advertised without maintenance. There was no sign saying it was for hotel guests only, but instead of calmly explaining any policy, management escalated aggressively and staff called the police. I left as soon as I was told to. Getting law enforcement involved over a broken destination charger says a lot about how this place is run. Afterward, the hotel suggested $30 a day to use the poorly maintained, incomplete charger they advertise as open and available. That’s no resolution, it feels like a cash grab. If public use isn’t allowed, the listing should say so. If it’s guests only, post that clearly instead of using intimidation and police calls. If you’re charging a premium, at least keep the equipment intact and working.

I was charged a pet fee at 1 a.m. even though I didn’t have a pet, and nobody on staff told me about it. Then, a month and a half after my stay, I was billed for the stay a second time. It took two hours of trying to get a refund while hotel staff denied charging me twice, even after I showed them my bank’s evidence of both charges. The place also didn’t feel safe, and it wasn’t very nice or clean. Don’t stay here, this hotel is full of fraud!

The shower had great pressure, and the breakfast area was spotless and well stocked. Very convenient location too, with a Dollar General across the street.
