I read other reviews after my stay and saw dozens describing the same front desk woman as rude, aggressive, and mean. That made me doubt my experience was a one-off. She treated me with no respect, seemed to act as if acknowledging guests were a favor, and answered basic questions with sarcasm and hostility. It’s shocking that management has ignored this pattern. A hotel should feel welcoming, but with her at the front desk, this one doesn’t. You can renovate rooms, change policies, or update the branding, but keeping someone like that at reception will keep costing the hotel guests and its reputation. I won’t return, and I urge others to read the reviews carefully before booking.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with lots of menu choices. The egg omelet and potatoes were especially good. The rooms were spacious and quiet, the beds comfortable with fluffy pillows, and hot drinks were available all day. The location was great, everything was very clean, and the staff were courteous. Nightly rates were good too. I’d stay here again.

The only person who treated me with basic kindness was the maintenance man. He saw I was upset and walked me back to the hotel in the rain with an umbrella. I truly appreciated that. My experience with the woman at the front desk was the opposite. From the moment I approached her, she was hostile and disrespectful. I couldn’t help feeling there was discrimination toward Spanish-speaking guests. I was dealing with my menstrual cycle and politely asked if I could take a tampon and pay with Apple Pay. They didn’t accept Apple Pay at the desk, and it was pouring outside, so I asked if I could quickly get the item and fetch my card from the room. She replied, “That’s not my problem. You think you’re a princess. How do I know you’re not going to steal it?” I was humiliated, especially as a paying guest. The next day we asked for a little more time to decide whether to extend our stay. At first they said that was okay. Later, the same woman told the manager, Amanda, that we’d been disrespectful the day before. That was a complete lie. She was the one who yelled at me and treated me terribly. As we packed, staff laughed at us too. It was cruel and unnecessary. This hotel needs urgent retraining in basic customer service and human empathy. I would never return and can’t recommend it to anyone.

The thick blankets and comfortable beds made for a good night's sleep. The rooms were clean and had the essentials, plus a full-size fridge, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pot, dishes, and pans. It feels much more useful than a standard hotel room when you want to cook. If you need something else, you can ask the front desk.
