Economy Suites Springfield - Extended Stay

The location is good for food, with plenty of places nearby, and it was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The rooms were clean and didn’t smell like smoke. Candra was very accommodating and let me check in early when I was in a pinch while in town for work. Easy five out of five.

My woman and I had good service and a clean room, but the sheets were yellow with age, and roaches crawled on us in the middle of the night. After my woman left a bad review about the roaches, the Manager at Motel 6 put us on the DNR (Do Not Rent) list and blamed us for trashing the room. That wasn’t true. We even took our own trash out when we left. Now we can’t stay at the Quality Inn or Motel 6, all because we left a bad review. This Motel 6 isn’t maintained well and needs to be torn down soon. I’m a maintenance man at the Holiday Inn, so I know how a Hotel/Motel room should be treated.

The friendly staff were the best part of my stay. It’s a two-star motel, pretty much what you’d expect. The bed was comfortable, though I was disappointed there were no lampshades. The toilet wasn’t firmly attached, but it worked fine. The location is great, although finding the entrance can be tricky.

The location worked well, close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions, but still quiet and relaxing. My room was spacious, spotless, and decorated just like the online pictures. I slept very comfortably, and appreciated the fresh linens, good toiletries, and well-stocked coffee station. Staff were warm and professional from the moment I arrived, and check-in was quick and easy. I felt at home right away. The stay exceeded my expectations, and I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, good service, and a peaceful place to unwind.
