Spark by Hilton Springfield Eugene

The renovated room was nice, and the mattress was good too. But sound came straight through the main door. I could clearly hear people walking in the hall, and it woke me during the night. The hotel needs better sound insulation on those doors.

There was a water refill station, which is a big plus when traveling. I hate buying plastic water bottles, lol. The night staff were friendly too, and the customer service was excellent. The rooms were spacious and very clean, including the bathroom. Just keep in mind this is Hilton's budget line, so it's very bare-bones. I gave it three stars because it was extremely expensive for what you get. I wouldn't normally stay at a budget hotel, but everything else was booked.

The price and location are the main things going for this hotel, with a Denny's and other restaurants within walking distance. It's clean and renovated, but there's not much else to recommend it. The room had no alarm clock, the shower head was so low it came to my forehead even though I'm 5'8, and the desk chair was a footstool. Breakfast was just cereal, coffee, and hard-boiled eggs. There's no gym or pool. This is a renovated Motel 8 turned into a Hilton hotel.

We were really impressed with the room, and the bed was great. This was the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in, and everything was excellent. It's also a very convenient stop for everything while traveling through. Thank you for keeping the hotel so clean. ❤️
