The hotel was extremely clean, and the staff were nice. Rooms are spacious and have lovely furnishings. Breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel, with so much variety that it felt more like a boutique inn.

We were told we'd have early check-in, but it wasn't honored on time. The request we made at booking for no feather pillows wasn't ready either. Even though it was over 80 degrees, they knowingly gave us a room without AC. The hotel didn't seem busy, but they still wouldn't move us to a better room. Very displeased with the staff.

I found someone else's hair on my bath towel. At checkout, they didn't seem to appreciate my comment about the couch pillows. I started itching as soon as I put my head on one, and I think those pillows should be washed or sanitized regularly.

The breakfast was lovely, and the staff there were attentive. We did have a few issues in our room, but the team was very accommodating. They even brought our takeout from an outside restaurant right to the door. Service was outstanding, and we look forward to coming back to this Springhill Suites (Springfield, IL).

We only stayed overnight, but it was a great visit. The room was very clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were both helpful and extremely friendly.
