The place was quiet and the location was good, but that was about all I liked. The room windows wouldn't shut or lock, the outside doors didn't lock, and you could see the hallway through my room door, as if it had been kicked in. The room was dirty, the pool area was filthy, and staff didn't seem to know what was going on. Don't count on breakfast: I sat for an hour while the man refilled items that had run out. He brought eggs and four biscuits, then took a break while guests had nothing to eat. The self-pour drinks didn't work either. I'll never stay here again and definitely don't recommend it.

The location is good, and if you're working at a job site and just need somewhere to sleep, it's okay. The building needs upkeep, though. The carpet was buckled, and the room hadn't been properly cleaned, with dust and dirty fingerprints still on the doors.

Mark and Christian at the front desk deserve kudos. I'd happily stay here again. Though it's an older hotel, the upgraded room still felt cozy and kept its character. It was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Breakfast had a decent selection the morning I checked out. I stayed here on 6.14.2025.

We've stayed here several times, but the hotel's age and lack of attention to detail are becoming noticeable. One TV in our suite didn't work, and the lights and alarm clock weren't plugged in. Breakfast could have been better, unless biscuits and gravy or egg patties count as a good main course. The location is good, though, and the rooms are comfortable.

For the price, this was one of the worst hotels we've stayed in, and we wouldn't recommend it. We booked a one-bedroom suite for the weekend, but the room smelled musty and was very dirty. There was mold around the windows, the doors didn't close right, and we soon found ants in both the kitchen area and bathroom. We asked the front desk to deal with them, but after staff came and went, nothing had changed. The rest of the property wasn't clean either. There were bugs and garbage in the stairwells, and one outside hotel door could be opened without a key card because it didn't lock. If you have the option to look elsewhere in Springfield, avoid this place.
