Super 8 by Wyndham Sulphur South

Hammond at the front desk gets five stars for guest service. He was so helpful, and housekeeping was very friendly. The room was tidy and fresh, with no stale cigarette smell, which I've only experienced maybe one other time in my life. I was very pleased with my stay at the super 8 in sulphur.

No breakfast, and the lights were mostly out. The single sliver of soap crumbled into pieces. Still, the room was very clean, which is surprising for the price.

The rooms were great, and Sandy was so nice and respectful when cleaning them. The housekeeper and two other staff were the only ones who made the stay pleasant. The front desk girl, whose name I think was yogita or something similar, was rude. I'd try to talk with her and she'd ignore me. She gave someone a key card to our room, and they came in and woke us in the morning. When we told her, she said it wasn't her problem. Before that, she had nearly charged our card over a thousand dollars, and check-in took 30 minutes. In the mornings, we either found her asleep at the desk or the office open with nobody there. I can't believe the business lets the yogith girl treat people and the establishment this way. Something needs to be done about her.

The room looked nice and was decent, but the sheets had hair on them and there was no smoke detector, just wires. There was no breakfast, and outside guests were very loud as they came in. There were a lot of construction vehicles around, which I'm used to, so that normally wouldn't be an issue. We also couldn't reach the rooms at the back from the parking lot. The front desk was nice and refunded the room when we didn't want to switch rooms. I was there alone with my four year old and didn't want to deal with changing rooms.
