The pool was well maintained, and there was a small workout room too. Breakfast was included, good, and plentiful. Inside, this Super 8 is clean, streamlined, and welcoming, though the outside looks pretty ho-hum and gives the wrong impression. The staff were friendly and knew what they were doing. The nature scenes and neutral colors made the decor feel relaxing. Although the area around the building is noisy, we couldn't hear that noise inside, so it must be well built. Our room and bed were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, the towels were clean and nice, and the A/C, fridge, and microwave all worked well. Plenty of electrical outlets too. Better pillows would be a small improvement, but that's about it. A real hidden gem.

We showed up without a reservation, needing a room for my brother's 70th birthday. I told the manager how much we'd enjoyed our recent stay in Temple, Texas, and she was friendly and helped me and my service animal. We hope to be back SOON. E MOLINA ARMY VETERAN

I had already paid for the whole week, so we stuck it out, though my girlfriend didn't feel safe. The stairwell by where I parked had a separate entrance from the lobby, but its door wouldn't close or lock, meaning anyone could get into the building. My week-long stay was a letdown from the moment I pulled up. The outside vents on every room looked kicked in. The lobby was nice and the staff seemed nice, but the room had floor stains, a broken iron, peeling paint, and carpet torn up where it met the tile. We joked that an odd corner looked like a litter box. Since I was there for a week, I needed to do laundry, and found gnarly stains all over the hallway floors on every floor. I was on the 3rd floor and liked using that stairwell, until we realized the door didn't secure.

The rooms were nice enough, but the hallways and stairs were extremely dirty, with stained, gross walls and floors. There was even dog poop on the stairs. I sat in the lobby for 1.5 hours and absolutely no one spoke to me. The location is tucked away in a weird hidden spot.
