The rooms are simple but so cute, with fun decor and a vintage feel. We stayed three nights with my friend and both our dogs, and the pet-friendly policy was perfect. We had no complaints and felt very safe. Staff were friendly and helpful as we prepared for our stay. Loved it and will definitely come back.

We spent one night here during a road trip to the upper peninsula, and the owners were lovely to talk with. The place is so unique, with a beautiful, clean room whose furniture and color scheme took us down memory lane. The lobby had a lovely Christmas theme, and I brought along my own travel Christmas tree and lighted garland.

The rooms have a cozy mid-century feel and are thoughtfully designed. Service was excellent and friendly during my two-night stay at The Sierra. I visited in a quieter part of the season, but would happily return any time of year.

The room decor easily beats that of a lot of hotels we've stayed in, and we were pleasantly surprised by how meticulously clean it was when we arrived. The motel is clearly well cared for. Many thanks to Barrett and Andrea for their hospitality and hard work. We love you both, God bless, and we'll definitely return and tell people about this Sierra Motel. Bravo!

The location made it easy to explore TC, from downtown to the surrounding areas and peninsulas, and we're so glad we chose the Sierra. Check-in was friendly and thorough without taking long. The room matched the pictures, but was even more fun to experience in person. The decor is great, and the cleanliness is amazing. Everything was as advertised and then some.
