The front desk staff were friendly but overwhelmed, and there was no restaurant open, no air conditioning in the halls, and way too much chlorine in the pool. What a miserable end to our vacation. It looks like this used to be the place to stay, but it isn't anymore. I had a guaranteed reservation, but they said they wouldn't hold it for a late arrival, so I went to a better and cheaper hotel. I gave the place another chance for my last night in town because the pictures looked inviting. The first room had water stains and ceiling damage. The furniture was better in the second room, but I had to pay more for it. I'll never come back. Bye forever, and thanks for memories I'll never forget.

Don't let the location or website photos fool you. The rooms smell of mildew, and there are videos and complaints about mildew, mold, and bed bugs. I couldn't make it through even one night. The staff were terrible and extremely unprofessional. No one in their right mind should stay in these awful rooms. A homeless person shouldn't have to stay here either. I'm going to contact every news outlet I can and do what I can to get this hotel taken off travel sites.

The room was clean and quiet, and the service was great. It may be dated, but who needs a big screen in a hotel room? The mini fridge and microwave were super handy for snacks and juice for my son. The pool was clean and warm, though crowded, which wasn't a surprise. I had a great stay and will come back if we take another trip to Detroit.

Most of the rooms seem unfit to stay in. We were put in two different ones: the first had mold, and the second was being repaired. I have photos of it. Michael and Martina were excellent in trying to help, and I understand they were frustrated too. I was shuffled between rooms for an hour before I finally got one. Once I settled in, there was no wireless. Martina had left, and the other front desk man seemed grumpy and just as pressured. I went straight back to my room. That's how it went for me. Please don't stay here.
