Motel 6 Tulsa, OK

The location is handy, directly opposite the casino hotel, and the stay felt comfortable and worth the money. The room was clean, spacious, in good condition, and smelled pleasant. Management was excellent, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I'd recommend the place to friends and family.

There were roaches all over this room, not just one or two. I've stayed at plenty of Motel 6 and other budget hotels, and this was by far the most disgusting room I've ever seen. It smelled awful and looked like no one tried to clean it. Grime and food bits were stuck to things, dust was everywhere, there was goop on the TV and side tables, and toilet paper wads were shoved into a corner. Roach droppings were in all the corners and by the vents. The bed looked used, with stained, wrinkled sheets and hair everywhere. Towels and sheets hadn't been changed. I checked the mattress for bed bugs and didn't find any, but there was food, debris, and stains on it. It was hard and lumpy, like it had to be decades old. The shower wouldn't drain. As I came in to check in, I held the door for a man and he kept asking me, "Where is the women," basically propositioning me in front of the front desk clerk. The clerk didn't react at all. This place needs to shut down, be remodeled, and get new management. Completely unacceptable. Don't stay here. Pay a few dollars more somewhere else, or honestly save your money and sleep in your car.

The only good thing was being right across from Hard Rock Casino. The front desk and the whole first-floor hallway smelled like weed, animal feces, and mustiness. The clerk had his face buried in his phone the entire time, including when I was leaving. The TV remote didn't work, and I didn't even want to ask about it. There was no trash can in the room, and the walls had marks that hadn't been cleaned. The small kitchen area had a fridge, stovetop, and plenty of counter space and seating. Breakfast and coffee were put out, then gone by 9:30 a.m., which sucked. For the price, it's fine if you just need somewhere to pass out for one night and leave in the morning. For longer than that, I'd pick somewhere else in the area.

I chose this place for a week because it was near my job. The room was cramped and dirty, with marks on the walls and leftover stuff in the mini fridge. The shower curtain was so gross and stiff I could barely pull it open. The whole building smelled like weed, and the desk made a fuss when I asked for extra towels.
