I've never seen a worse hotel. The rooms and beds were dirty, and there were roaches in the room. I checked another room and found the same thing. When I asked for a refund, the front desk agent, who called himself the owner, shouted at me and treated me rudely. I wouldn't recommend this place. A waste of money, time, and energy.

After driving all the way from Virginia, I found out at the front desk that the hotel wouldn't honor my online reservation. If they don't accept online bookings, why offer the option? The listing showed $59, but I was charged $75 when I arrived, which wasn't worth it. They'd also taken a deposit from my card when I booked. I called to ask for it back after learning they wouldn't accept the reservation, but it still hasn't been refunded. I got an email saying the booking was non-refundable. The whole thing was disappointing and inconvenient, and I wouldn't recommend booking online here.

I called about renting a room week to week or month to month, but the person who answered kept talking over me and seemed more focused on someone else in the office than on my call. If that's their customer service, no thanks. It's already a red flag. And it makes me laugh to see the owner and his friends leaving reviews about how nice everything is.

The room was clean and looked after, with the basics including free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, and a comfortable bed. The decor is a little dated, but it didn't get in the way of a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. It's conveniently close to major roads and restaurants. For the price, this motel is good value, and I'd recommend it if you're after an affordable, easy stay.
