Getting to guest rooms requires a key to pass through the doors to the elevator, which made the hotel feel very secure. The fitness room had great exercise equipment, and the extended-stay kitchen was large and modern, with a deep sink, full-size fridge, microwave, two-burner stovetop with vents, and plenty of storage. The hallways smelled nice and were very clean, as were the stairwells. The bathroom was nice, too. Great location near everything, a great front desk, and friendly fellow guests. Overall, a great, clean hotel.

The rooms are nice, but this place isn't worth it. Their shared coffee maker has been broken for a long time, and in the early morning I couldn't get the office to answer or respond when the key cards all locked up and kicked me off the system. I was left waiting outside for no reason. No one answered the call system, or the direct line.

With no carpets in the building, it was a really loud stay. There was something above me, maybe construction, a workout facility, laundry, or just the loudest guests ever. The room kept banging and shaking, and I could hear furniture or heavy objects being dragged across the floor. I got an hour of sleep total. I had noise-canceling headphones on, so the NYE fireworks weren't the problem. I called the front desk, but the voicemail box was full. The employees at the main number on the website were very nice, but couldn't fix the noise. If you need actual sleep, maybe look elsewhere or ask for a top-floor room.

We stayed at wood spring VANCOUVER from September 19 to 21, 2025. I'd booked an accessible room, but when we arrived it had been sold and the clerk assigned us a non-accessible room on the second floor. My husband uses a wheelchair and had a hard time maneuvering in the bathroom. The older gentleman checking us in didn't care when I asked why our room had been sold. He shrugged and said, “This is all we have available and it wasn’t me that sold your room.” We had traveled from Spokane WA and were exhausted, so we felt we had no choice but to take what he offered, even though holding the room on our credit card should have meant it wasn't given away. We brought our things in from the car. As soon as I helped my husband onto the bed, I spotted a strand of hair. The bed had been smoothed out but the linen hadn't been changed. The pull-out couch smelled awful, had no linen, and only a plastic bed bug or dust cover. I went downstairs to ask for sheets and pillows because there were only two pillows for the three of us. They were out of pillows and blankets, and the clerk gave me only a fitted and a flat sheet for the couch bed. That bed was in bad condition, with metal you could feel, a squeak like rusty metal when pulled out, a rotten smell, and lots of holes in the plastic cover. Our daughter ended up on the couch instead. Our second stay was for a relative's funeral at the same place. We checked in on 9/25/25 and out on 9/28/25. This time they gave us the first-floor handicapped room, which we were happy about, but there was no shower curtain. I asked the clerk, she gave me one, and I installed it myself. I checked the bed carefully to avoid a repeat of the hair from last time. I didn't see any, though who knows. At checkout I noticed the bill was higher than the online booking price. When I asked, the clerk printed a detailed receipt showing an extra linen service charge. We hadn't used that service, but she couldn't reverse it because, she said, it had already been cashed out. The older gentleman from our first visit, who seemed to live there around the clock, said manager Fifi would have to authorize a refund and would call me back. I often saw him smoking with others around the front and back of the building, and noticed he let people without key cards into the building. They assured me they'd leave a message on Fifi's desk so she'd call first thing Monday about refunding the $9 for linen service I hadn't used. It's now been 11 days and the $9 still hasn't appeared on my credit card. I checked every day. Be careful renting here and question any charges that seem off. Photos from my first visit.

The rooms are nice, the prices are great, and both staff and the property are clean and safe. I think people post bad things after they've been kicked out. Ben, the temporary manager, seems to really care about this place. I'd recommend it to anyone.
