We were just passing through and needed somewhere for the night, and I’d stay here again. It’s a nice place for the price, with clean rooms apart from the carpets and nice bathrooms. They let us bring our dog for just $15. One room smelled of smoke, and our baby’s knees got dirty crawling on the carpet. Aside from that, it was a good stay for us.

The mattresses were quite hard, though I slept well, and the pillows were better than I’d expect at an inexpensive place. The people running the hotel were nice and helpful. Our room was clean and looked recently refurbished, with a nicer bathroom than average for this kind of motel, a real bathtub, and a good shower head. I was glad to have the mini fridge for our food overnight. A good bargain for travelers passing through.

I slept like a baby despite having insomnia, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was so clean, smelled nice, and had lovely modern decor and colors. It was one of the cutest little places I’ve stayed, and honestly worth $80 to me. Whoever says the rooms are old may have stayed under different management or in a smoking room. I was tired when I booked and when I arrived at 2 am, but I still care a lot about customer service, so here’s what happened. Hotels dot com’s mobile site didn’t make the $15 pet fee clear, though it was clear on the desktop site. The first desk lady tried to charge me $20, which confused and bummed me out since I’d booked at a much cheaper price. I showed the other lady my ESA letter from a doctor saying my animal was medically necessary, and she refunded the fee. She was direct and honest, politely and courteously explained things, and stood her ground. I respect that, so I’m leaving this review for her. The first lady was friendly and sweet the next day, and I learned she and her husband run the whole place. That sounds difficult, and I respect small business owners, especially older couples who need support. It was such a nice room despite the fee confusion. Support cute little places like this, or the bigger chains will take over and quality will drop, I tell you. I’d definitely consider staying here.

The owner was patient and helpful while we sorted out a payment problem. Once we got to the room, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious it was. The price was great as well. I had a great stay and would definitely come back.
