Fountain Motel

The rooms felt a little cramped, though there was still enough space to move around. The beds were comfortable, the room was well kept, and the bathroom was a nice size. The pool was decent, with a one-foot shallow end for little kids and a deep end at seven feet. It was decently quiet, and the plants around the property gave the hotel a lovely natural feel. We booked for the price and were happy with the location and presentation too. It’s right up the street from the Wildwood ball sign, with a park around the corner. To get to the beach, the conference center walkway leads right down, and there’s a rinse-off spot when you’re done. A great family place.

My husband and I had a comfortable visit, and the quiet neighbors helped make it a pleasant vacation. The room was basic, but it had all we needed, and local eateries and the boardwalk were within walking distance. As a middle-aged married woman, I’ve come to appreciate some peace and quiet. I know that can be hard to find in Wildwood, but there’s still hope. We’ll definitely return.

The room was plenty big for the two of us, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The front desk worker knew all about what was happening at the boardwalk and parks, and was friendly too. When our AC wasn’t getting cold enough, they quickly got us a replacement. My only complaint was the shower pressure, which wasn’t great, though that seems common in NJ hotels. Fountain Motel was a fantastic find.

Tony and Cora took great care of us, welcoming us and handling all the check-in details. The motel feels warm and inviting, from the grounds to the room decor, and everything in my room worked, including the shower, phone, and WiFi on my laptop. With so many places to stay here, I’m grateful I found this one. It’s a great choice for peace and quiet, and I’ll be back.
