North Wildwood Townhome < 1/2 Mi to Beach!

Angie, the on-site manager, was pleasant to deal with, and the motel is in a convenient spot about three blocks from the Boardwalk. The outside looks cute, but our one-bedroom “suite” felt badly in need of an update. The mattress was comfortable, though the bathroom was tiny, the towels were very thin, and there were no hand towels. I planned to sleep on the sofa bed one night because I snore, but when we pulled it out there were several dead bugs of an unknown kind. The room was musty, with dirt layered on the floor, and I'd give the overall cleanliness a 5. There was a little kitchen but no way to make coffee. Parking was difficult and oddly laid out, with some single spots and several double spaces where you might have to park behind another car. One of the many posted rule cards says there's room for one car per unit, but after returning one evening we couldn't park at the motel. I had to circle the neighborhood looking for a spot off-site, which was a real pain.

We look forward to coming back to the Lollipop Motel every year. The rooms are bright and colorful, with a happy vacation feel, and housekeeping tidies them daily. Management pays attention to the small things that keep our stay comfortable and convenient. Thanks so much for another lovely stay. See you next year!

The pool and deck are kept clean and are great for families, and the rooms have had recent bathroom and flooring upgrades. The motel is only two blocks from the boardwalk and close to Seaport Pier for entertainment. They also rent golf carts, which make it easy to get around Wildwood. We recently stayed five days for the Barefoot Country Music Festival, and have been here a couple of times before. Angie and her team work hard to give guests a good experience. Angie especially deserves recognition for keeping everything running so well. I'd recommend it, particularly to families.

Angie is one of the hardest-working people I've ever come across on a trip, and she's also so friendly and accommodating. We won't stay anywhere else while the Lollipop is open and she's running it. Our room is always very clean, with comfortable beds, crisp white sheets, and extra blankets. The pool is clear every time and just the right temperature. Since we visited in June, she's even added a coffee bar, which is a great bonus.
