My wife and I really enjoyed the event we attended at The City Club in Wilmington. The historic property has beautiful architecture and well-kept landscaping, and the elegant atmosphere still felt welcoming. It seems perfect for luxury events.

The team provided truly top-notch hospitality and food, and their professionalism really impressed me. The building and gardens are beautifully kept and make for great photos. I photographed a recent wedding there and am looking forward to more events.

We’re proud to be members of such a beautiful historic club. City Club easily hosted three events for us over one weekend, while staying open for regular service, and gave each occasion its own special touch. The spaces are lovely and flexible, with a garden for outdoor gatherings and rooms for different group sizes and needs. We had plenty of requests before and during the events, and everything was thoughtful, organized, and above expectations. We added a last-minute party for the grandfathers, uncles, and other male guests. They especially liked the bar, the history, and the excellent food. We held the events earlier this summer to celebrate the addition to our family, and every part of the experience went so well.

Parking can be tricky, but I always enjoy attending events here. I've been to many, and they've consistently been well run. The staff are friendly and attentive without hovering, and they make a real effort to please and do better than most. I'm reviewing the venue, not the restaurant.

We had a terrific dinner tonight and love being members of The City Club. The food was great: I especially liked the scallops, and my husband enjoyed his fillet. Barbara Goodwin was our server and was absolutely amazing.
