Days Inn by Wyndham Wilmington / University

The manager went above and beyond after we left our son's bag of toys behind. They shipped it back super quickly, with a sweet note from a sea turtle thanking him for sharing his toys and a bunch of Jolly Ranchers from the "sea turtles." Having that package waiting on our doorstep when we got home made the trip feel so special. Thank you! The room and location were both great, too.

The bed was seriously comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. It was clean and tidy, even though the rooms were a little dark and everything seemed old. We picked it because it welcomes pets and has a dedicated area for walking them. The front desk ladies were really nice and helpful. For the price and location, it's hard to go wrong, and I'd recommend it if you just need somewhere to sleep close to everything.

From outside I was a little worried, but the room was gorgeous and seemed newly updated. I loved the barn doors. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked great.

The location was perfect, with a Wal-Mart right around the corner. I didn't spend much time in the room because I was busy at the beach with my woman, but it was clean, in my opinion. I used some disinfecting spray to be on the safe side. The housekeepers did a great job, didn't take any of my things, and brought me extra washcloths without a problem. The bathroom was clean too. The TV wasn't big, but it did the job for my short stay. I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in Wilmington again.
