The Westin Wilmington

The room was spotless, nicely put together, and comfortable enough that I slept wonderfully and didn't want to leave. The bathroom had good quality amenities, and breakfast was fresh, varied, and served with a smile. The fitness facilities were impressive and well kept, too. At The Westin Wilmington, the staff were warm, professional, and attentive from check-in onward. They handled every detail with care, and the team clearly takes pride in the guest experience. It felt like a five-star stay, and we'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Our guests loved staying at the Westin, and the food at our farewell brunch was a huge hit. I expected a standard hotel continental breakfast, but the chef and team prepared a special menu with unusual, delicious options that worked around our many restrictions: vegetarian dishes, no onion or garlic, and plenty of eggless choices. People were surprised by how good everything was and went back for seconds, even thirds. They also loved the refreshing smoothies. Huge thanks to Kelsey for making it happen. We held our wedding at the Chase Center, with most of our more than 300 guests staying nearby at the Westin. The hotel was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and well organized throughout the weekend. Its location made managing the group and getting to the venue easy, which helped the whole wedding run smoothly. Janet was incredible through the planning process. She patiently and promptly handled countless emails about room additions, changes, and swaps. She also checked in personally to reassure me that everything would be taken care of, which meant a lot during such a busy time. The whole team helped make the weekend go beautifully. I'd highly recommend it for wedding room blocks and large groups.

The front desk made check-in flawless, and the location is great, with so much within walking distance. My room looked neat and inviting, but every glass we had was dirty, with lip marks, not just lint. I have photos. That's concerning, especially with water costing $7. Please do better for future guests.

I come here for work every six months, and they greet me by name each time. The staff are always pleasant and have accommodated every request I've made. The food and bar are good, and management seems to have chosen the staff carefully. There are three other hotels I could walk to, but I'll keep staying at the Westin.
