Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Wisconsin Dells

The hotel was clean, and the room and pool were warm, but the stay was a big disappointment. I asked for two queen beds and a crib for my baby, and got two full beds with no crib. There was no breakfast either day, not even waffles or bread, despite the listing promising a good breakfast. The website also said two waterpark passes were included, but we didn't get any. The AC had mold, and the hotel was extremely hot in one area and really cold in another. The staff were rude too. I wouldn't stay here again, especially with kids. It wasn't worth the money, and I'm very unhappy with the stay.

The room was okay and bigger than a typical one, but breakfast looked like leftovers even though we went first thing in the morning, so we skipped it. The service didn't feel friendly or helpful. Honestly, I felt like I was bothering them. Maybe things are better during the season.

We ended up going home instead of staying the night. In the first room, a strong mold and mildew smell mixed with chlorine, mostly from the pool it backed onto. The bathroom had a drop ceiling with obvious water damage that looked like it might collapse. We waited to see if the smell would ease once the room warmed up, but it didn't. A few hours later we asked to move, and the front desk clerk was on the phone at a slot machine, uninterested and unconcerned. We had asked for a room near our family, who had made that request the day before and were told it could be arranged. The replacement was nowhere near them, despite only a handful of cars in the lot. That room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, even though the room number had a clear no-smoking sign. When we went back to ask for another move, we found the same clerk in the same situation. We decided to leave and drive home.

The rooms are roomy and nice, and the staff were polite, welcoming, and accommodating. I just wish the pool were warmer. Otherwise, this place is great, and I'll be back. Thanks!
