The location is right across the crossing from Registan Square, with plenty of good food just a stone’s throw away. It was reasonably priced and included a simple, adequate breakfast. Staff were courteous and usually helpful. One downside is that they only take cash. I stayed three nights and left at 8:20 am after breakfast for my DIY tours each day, asking for the room to be cleaned. I’d return around 12:40-1:20 pm after lunch to do my qasar prayers, but the room still hadn’t been cleaned, even when I waited at reception until 3 pm. It seemed they focused on rooms for guests checking out rather than people staying longer. They also didn’t replace the towels when I requested it. Still, the polite staff nearly made up for those issues. 4*

After a long journey from bukhara or tashkent, this clean, tidy, comfy place was a lovely landing spot for solo travellers, and great value. The location is perfect, right opposite registan square. Rooms are a little small and not soundproof, but there wasn’t any noise either. The staff were wonderful, helpful, respectful, and kind. Thanks to Amir/Bek/Aisha and all the ladies. I checked out early, and they offered to pack something for my journey. At checkout they also asked if I wanted a drink before leaving. That gesture really touched me. Highly recommended.

Breakfast there was super cute, and staff communication was clear and straightforward around the clock. I came by myself, and this is the best location to stay in Samarqand. 100% recommend.

The staff spoke the best English of anywhere I visited on my Uzbekistan trip, and the hotel is directly opposite the main icon. I’ve never seen a hotel with a more perfect location. I stayed two nights and would have given five stars, except breakfast was pretty sad. Both mornings it was sausage, egg, fruit, bread, some biscuits, pepperoni, and cheese slices. Please add things like salad and cereal.

The best part is the spot, right across from Registan Square, with all the tourist attractions reachable on foot. We had a wonderful two-night stay in a neat, clean room, though the walls were so thin we could hear people talking next door. The man at reception was polite and respectful, always greeting us with a smile when we came in. He also helped with food and travel recommendations. We had an early train on our last day, and he packed breakfast for us.
