What made this stay memorable was the setting: the hotel is right in the heart of Samarkand, steps from a lovely boulevard, beautiful minarets, and a lively local market. It was a great base for exploring the city. Our room was cozy and well equipped, with a balcony and breathtaking minaret views. The quiet neighborhood made it easy to unwind after a day out. Samarkand won me over, and the hotel was a big part of that. I’ll definitely come back and stay here again! ❤️

The airport ride turned out to be chargeable, even though the property advertises a free shuttle available around the clock. Once I had booked the room, there was no free shuttle after all.

There’s no kettle in the room, so you have to call if you want tea or coffee. Breakfast was average. The staff were friendly and helpful, though one person stayed stretched out on the sofa asleep while we checked out, which felt like we were walking through his bedroom.

There are some practical drawbacks here. Most rooms are upstairs, and with no elevator you’ll need to use the stairs. There are just two rooms on the ground floor. The rooms also felt smaller than the ones we’d had in other cities of Bukhara. The hotel has no lunch service, and its café next door, according to the unwelcoming staff there, only sells canned drinks. Nearby dining is limited to one fine dining restaurant, which isn’t much use for a quick bite. It’s an alright place, just not especially convenient. The location is a plus: right by Amir Temur Park in Samarkand, and about a 15-minute walk from Registan square. There’s also a lovely terrace on the third floor. Breakfast in the restaurant was average.

We only stayed one night, which was a shame because I’d have liked more time here. The hotel is in a good spot for walking around, with restaurants and parks nearby, and Rajestan square is a pleasant stroll away. It’s a cosy, budget boutique hotel near Gur e Amir Mausoleum. The rooms are simple but very large, with a lovely, tasteful theme. Charming staff and a great breakfast, too.
