The room was nice and modern, and the buffet breakfast was good. At 10am it wasn’t busy. There’s also a 24/7 gym with kettlebells and wall balls, which was the best part for me. The location is fairly central, though it’s quite a walk from the metro, Hotel Uzbek, and Amir Timur Museum. The big park nearby is lovely and open, with an old Soviet style. The lobby can get hectic with just one reception desk, and some Chinese kids were screaming there. I nearly left a zero-star review after my cold shower, but finally figured out the controls. They’re confusing, and you just have to leave them as they are, lol.

The location is a plus, and there’s a KFC right next to the hotel. The breakfast has a good range, too. My room was clean, with tidy linen, soft pillows, and a comfortable bed. It also had useful amenities and a large TV with lots of channels. Of the hotels I’ve stayed in so far, this one has the best selection of international TV channels. Good affordable corporate rates, and I’d recommend it, especially for business travelers.

Breakfast was the disappointing part of my stay. There wasn’t much to choose from, and when I asked whether they could make an omelette or something fresh, they flatly said no and told me it would cost extra. That’s not what I usually expect at hotel breakfast, and it left a sour taste. I’d consider other hotels next time that are more accommodating about breakfast requests. Check-in, on the other hand, was smooth and welcoming. The staff were polite, and they offered me a drink while I waited, which was a nice touch.

The breakfast was nice, and there’s a large KFC downstairs. Behind the hotel you’ll find several good restaurants. Independence Square is walkable and not very far. The soundproofing could be better, though, since the hotel is close to the street.

I didn’t find the stay very comfortable. My room had no view, and the bathroom only came with shampoo, no toothbrush, comb, or other essentials. Breakfast choices were very limited.
