We’re from New Zealand and had a great stay at Safar Hotel. Breakfast was good and came with a smile, and they also pointed us toward a superb local massage. The price was good. Our room was clean and roomy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a quiet spot that’s still close to everything.

After a long flight, I arrived exhausted at 12:30am, but the staff told me to leave even though I’d booked two nights and showed them the reservation. They didn’t speak English. My taxi driver couldn’t speak it either, and without a working SIM card I couldn’t call another hotel. It was a horrible experience.
