Boundless Bliss Hotel

A canceled flight, which was completely out of my control, meant I couldn’t get to the hotel. I explained what happened in detail, but they wouldn’t consider a refund or any other option. My experience was negative because of the staff’s lack of empathy and flexibility, not because of the hotel itself. I know policies exist, but customer service and understanding matter too. Given how they handled a real, unexpected situation, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend the hotel.

Don’t book this property through Suzy or anyone else using VRBO. They gave our room away, and I’ve since seen others describe the same experience. The island was completely booked for the long weekend, so we were stranded. They never told us we had to check in by a certain time or request a late check-in, but later said they gave the room away because we hadn’t requested one. We contacted them while stuck waiting over an hour for our rental car. A Budget Rental Employee spent over an hour trying to find us somewhere to stay, but all lodging was sold out. Because of this fiasco caused by the host and property, we ended up flying home two days early. I won’t use VRBO again.

We had no choice but to stay here after our flights were canceled and nowhere else was available. The service was awful, there were ants in the room, the TV was broken, there was no internet or amenities, and the neighborhood felt scary as hell. The Bates Motel in Psycho would be a better option. This “hotel” sucked from start to finish. Don’t stay here!

I was very dissatisfied with my stay. The owner was quite rude, and customer service was poor. They charged me twice and only refunded me after I went to the hotel in person and demanded it. The bathrooms were outdated and badly maintained. They also tried to charge extra for guests who were just visiting and not staying, which felt unreasonable and unprofessional.
