The only drawback is that getting to the city center takes a little extra effort. Otherwise, it's fantastic, and I'd give it a perfect 10. The rooms were clean, quiet, and well equipped, and the staff were attentive, very enthusiastic locals from the Mekong Delta. It's in a residential area with lots of choices for food, including many delicious, affordable cafes. Seems like a great option for a short business trip or a family visit to Can Tho City.
The service was excellent, and the security guard was friendly and helpful. He'd readily buy food for guests and took good care of the vehicles. The price was reasonable, and my room was clean, spacious, and had a bathtub.
The Emerald room was clean, though pretty small, and that love seat felt cramped 🥲. It seemed set up mainly for hourly stays, since there was no wardrobe, makeup table, chair, or towels. Two nights came to 1200, which was reasonable. Check-in was at 2 PM, but I arrived at noon and was asked for another 150k for two hours. I declined, and the hotel agreed to let it go. The motorbike rate was 170k a day, about what I’ve seen in Da Lat. I rented one for roughly an hour at lunch and was charged an 85k half-day fee. I pushed back and they lowered it to 50k. Since the hotel is central and everything was around 4km away or less, I skipped the bike and used Grab car/Green SM instead. Two days of Grab cost about 400k, much less than renting a motorbike.
The rooms come in lots of styles, from standard to VIP, and each has its own design. Worth trying one at least once.
Easy to spot on the corner of the intersection, this laid-back tea shop has a Hoi An feel and serves Hoi An Mot tea.
