The guest house has a friendly feel and the rooms are high spec, with a fridge in the room. You can borrow bicycles, which is handy because everything is a few km away. It’s a pleasant 25-minute ride to the beach, so bring some kind of navigation. Check the tyres before setting off, and remember to take the locks provided. The old town is closer, but the traffic is predictably mad. Leave the bikes on the outskirts and walk in or take a taxi. You can’t flag one down from the accommodation, so order one. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

The facilities are gorgeous, and the hostel itself is beautiful. Free bikes and a delicious breakfast are included, which makes it incredible value. It’s only about a leisurely 10-minute bike ride to the center of the ancient town. Truly, there’s no better place to stay in Hoi An.

We had a wonderful time. Sky and his family were always smiling and happy to help, and they made us feel at home. Our room was good, with comfy beds and pillows. The free bicycles were a huge plus.

It felt like an abandoned, filthy building. I booked and paid through Agoda, then waited at reception for four hours to see whether anyone would show up. Nobody did. I requested a cancellation and refund, but the owner refused. Check the place before you rent it. Since nobody seems to stay there, you can sleep in any room if you can put up with the dust, and apparently you don't need to pay.
