The room didn’t feel as new as it looked in the photos, and it had a slight damp smell. The strong essential oil scent also made me dizzy when I first walked in. Cleaning could have been better. Check-in and check-out are self-service, with a passcode and keys so you can access the room freely. Service was good, and staff replied quickly to messages. They also left snacks and drinks in the room. I had trouble figuring out the projector, and at first it wouldn’t connect to the homestay’s Wi-Fi. It eventually worked after a while.

For a budget stay near My Khe beach, this was the cheapest place I found with both a kitchen and a washing machine. Ours had no outside windows, but the clever lighting made it feel like a galaxy of stars each night. The cleaner deserves special credit for going out of their way to help me. It worked well as a quiet place to sleep, with a reliably hot shower, great air conditioning, lots of food options on the same lane, and easy beach access. The trade-offs were a complicated check-in, pilled sheets, and nowhere to hang clothes or store them in a wardrobe. Those are small hassles if you want a self-contained place in one of Da Nang’s best locations on a budget.
