Danang Retreat House

The hosts and their parents struck me as stingy and hypocritical. Even as a ghost, I needed ghost-tech microscope to make out what was in their tiny minds. Do not eat a stingy man’s bread or covet his delicacies, because he calculates everything inwardly. They belong to my world, not yours, so deal with them accordingly. I used to live on this same street, in the first house the sun hit. If you work out which one it is, throw some salt on the ground for me. This house always felt damp, with no proper way to get rid of the humidity. Mold was growing on the walls and books. If you have allergies or sensitive skin or a respiratory system, you’ll notice it. There are ants too, though maybe that’s fine if you’re friends with them. Yes, it’s close to the beach, but the beach is run down and nobody really looks after it. The neighbors across the way seem to be friends with bad spirits and fight loudly pretty often. If gossip is your thing, that could be a plus. Otherwise, it’s a minus. Listen up, living things. I’m a wandering Google Maps ghost, here to offer a view others can’t see.
