The receptionist was helpful, and the ride to or from the Old Quarter takes about 20 minutes. One thing to check before staying: they didn't tell me whether drinks and snacks were chargeable, and I was billed for a 500ml bottle of mineral water. Ask reception about the charges.

A small, really good hotel for a business trip. The room was in excellent condition, and the staff were extremely kind and supportive. Breakfast isn't a buffet, but you can order almost anything on the menu, and it all tasted good. I'd definitely stay again.

Inside, Blue Hanoi Inn city hotel is neat and clean, and there was no street noise during my stay. The street leading to it is very low. It's near the vietnam convention center and Big C, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was decent, and they made sure I was comfortable. All in all, a very nice stay.

I picked this hotel only because it was close to my workplace during a business trip. The neighborhood seemed dodgy, and the price had me expecting poor accommodation and hospitality, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and spoke decent English, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was good enough. For the price, it felt like a great bargain with a bit of class. It's not a good base for sightseeing, since it's quite far from all the points of interest. The lobby restaurant is sweet and serves breakfast with a good spread of local dishes and some continental options. I stayed in room 503. It was very spacious, with a random city view. The air conditioner worked perfectly, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a bathtub, a good shower head, and a rain shower. The toiletries were very low quality, so bring your own. There's no gym or pool, but MD FITNESS is walkable and offers a decent daily workout pass for 2 USD. The staff took care of my needs with a smile and made us feel looked after. Special shout-out to the night staff at the front desk. The free high-speed Wi-Fi worked well throughout the property. There was also a big plasma TV with dozens of channels for sports, news, music, movies, and other entertainment in multiple languages.
