We stayed here for a few nights at the end of our Vietnam trip, during a weekend in Hanoi. It’s a nice little hotel homestay. My girlfriend loved the decor and the wall painting. This part of the neighborhood is quieter, so there’s less honking than around some hotels in busier areas. It’s a bit farther from most popular tourist spots, but that wasn’t a big deal with Grab being so cheap. Hero bar is only a 2 minute walk away, and it’s a great club.

The rooftop was a nice bonus, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and sights within walking distance. Our room was clean and cozy, breakfast was good, and the host was helpful. It felt like home here :)

The interiors have a fun, beautiful Indochina style, and the housemade phin coffee was the best we tried. It’s in a less polluted part of Hanoi, still close enough to walk to the city centre. Hue was the best host we found during three weeks in Vietnam. She was happy to help with anything, including planning the rest of our trip.

The decor was cute, but the room felt overpriced. The bathroom had a bad smell, and there was a lot of neighborhood noise. I had to leave the bathroom fan running all night. There was no water boiler, and unfortunately the blanket smelled bad too.
