Cupid Hotel

The staff made the stay especially easy. The front desk spoke English very well, and the security team were incredibly attentive. Whenever I arrived by Grab Car, taxi, or Grab Bike, a guard ran over to help me cross the busy street, opened the door, carried my suitcases, and even lent me an umbrella in the blazing midday sun. I’ve never seen that kind of dedication at a hotel in this star class. Management should know what a gem of a team they have. We could also leave our luggage at reception until late on checkout day at no extra charge, which gave us another full day to explore before the airport. The facilities were just as good: in the Suite Room, the sauna reached a steamy 85°C, and the jacuzzi kept hot water running for hours without going cold. Everything worked perfectly, with no technical problems. The suite was massive and set up for a fun, memorable couples’ getaway. It had a private Jacuzzi, private Sauna, separate toilet, comfortable bed, and a Tantra sofa. The projector and big screen, plus the high-quality audio system, set the mood nicely. Cupid Hotel is severely underrated and deserves more recognition. For a reasonable price, this gave us privacy, luxury, and outstanding service. I can’t recommend it enough, and the Suite was worth every penny.

The romantic, sex-themed feel might put some people off, so it’s not for you if you’re fussy about that. If you’re open-minded, though, I think it’s the best choice in the city. You can book a regular room or a short-time room, and in this price range it’s the cleanest and best place I’ve stayed in here. The jacuzzi was great, as were YouTube Prime without ads, free Netflix, and the soft, comfortable bed. They also clean the room daily, and it was clean. Highly recommend.

The counter staff were professional and very helpful with check-in. It’s a beautiful place to stay, though I was a little surprised to find it was a special kind of hotel. You can hear guests from other rooms walking past the door. There are lots of snacks in the room, but you pay for them depending on what you use.

The staff were lovely and kind, and the bed was super comfy. But we thought we were booking a hotel, then realized it was basically sex-themed. We figured it might be funny, but it really wasn’t. The room was tiny, nothing like the booking pictures, with no cupboards or drawers at all. We had camping bags and nowhere to put our things, so they ended up on the floor or a sex chair. There was a loud, constant whirring sound all night, and it wasn’t the AC or someone else’s hot tub. With no windows, the room felt stuffy and claustrophobic. Shower ventilation was poor too, so the walls got wet and condensation ran down them. The bathroom was glass, so you’re using the toilet in front of your partner, if that’s your thing. The sauna seemed like a bad idea in rooms that are underground and super hot. Every inch felt cluttered with things for sale, like condoms, lube, bubble bath, and toothbrushes. The whole place felt a bit grim. This doesn’t feel like a hotel. More like a stop after too many drinks with a one-night stand you might regret, or might not. It shouldn’t be sold as anything else.
