Dorm24H Hostel

The location in 1st district is really good, and the place is cheap, quiet, and clean. The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak English. Rooms are small, and the house is tall with steep stairs, a bit like Waesley's house (from Harry Potter;)). You get a very good bed with curtains, a light, and a power point. Towels and toothpaste are free, and there’s a tiny kitchen for making noodles or coffee. Just what I needed for a few days in HCM. 10/10, love it!

I stayed in room 104. The location is handy for Bui Vien, and the bed was okay with AC that worked well. The place feels very dated, though, and there’s not much space. The common area is almost nonexistent. On my floor, dorm guests had to go down to the ground floor for the bathroom and shower. There was only one room, so good luck if you need the facilities while someone’s showering.

I was happy with my private room. It was bigger than I expected for the price, and surprisingly quiet even though it’s right off Bui Vien. They provided AC and a fan, plus soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and towels.

For around 80k VND, this is the best option I found for staying the night on Bui Vien st. The hostel is super cheap and the host is really nice. Space is the one downside, it’s small.
