Edoya Hotel Ben Thanh

I used to live on this road and have been to the hotel coffee shop many times. The owner is very friendly, but this visit left me upset. After I used the toilet, a hotel staff member told me I had to ask the hotel for permission first, even though I had already asked the coffee shop owner. The receptionist was extremely unfriendly and spoke to me like I was a child who didn’t know how to be polite. If I were a tourist walking into a random hotel, of course I’d ask politely. But I’m a regular at the coffee shop, and the way they treated me showed no respect for regular customers. I won’t return or recommend this branch to visitors. The hotel is also hurting the atmosphere of the coffee shop and, in turn, its business. Please ask your staff to be friendly, since you never know who you’re talking to.

Being right in the city centre made getting around easy, with Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Centre mall, and plenty of cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. My room at Edoya Hotel Ben Thanh was clean and comfortable, with the amenities I needed, including free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and their excellent English made things much easier. The restaurant didn’t have many vegetarian options. Still, I’d recommend the hotel for its location, comfortable rooms, and service, and would stay again.

Our floor had just been renovated, so there was still a bit of paint smell, perhaps because it was so new. Even so, we had a good stay and would recommend the hotel. The location is handy for walking to lots of places, with good restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. The staff spoke good English and were helpful. When our airport transfer driver was late, one of them called him for us, which we really appreciated.

We had a comfortable, pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel for its location and service. It’s right in the town centre, so shops and nearby places are easy to reach. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was decent.
