Luckily, I never actually stayed here. The host behaved terribly and ignored the questions I sent through Booking.com’s chat. After that, I got an email asking me to confirm cancelling my booking, even though nobody had discussed it with me. They were pushing me to cancel while still ignoring me in the chat. The host did call my mobile, but I prefer to keep everything through Booking.com and didn’t want to talk outside its system. I contacted Booking.com Customer Service about how rudely I was treated. I’ve never had this happen on Booking.com before. FOREIGNERS, PLEASE DON’T STAY HERE!

Jessie, the owner, was very friendly and speaks English really well. She’s a lovely person, and I genuinely enjoyed talking with her. My room was clean, and they even let me check in early. The location is great, so I highly recommend the hotel. A lot of the bad reviews seem to blame the building’s security, but that’s separate from the hotel. The building is shared by offices and residences.

We arrived at 21:00 after telling them we’d be late, and were told our two rooms, booked through Booking, were no longer available. The manager was rude when we spoke to him and offered no help. Worst place ever. Don’t go there!

Two guards were extremely helpful, and that’s why I gave two stars. The others were unfriendly and no help at all, with faces like wet blankets.

The location in SGN is great, but the old building could use better maintenance.
