MG Rosé Boutique Hotel - Saigon City Lights

A good fit for backpackers or anyone wanting to be near Bui Vien walking street and District 1. It's clean and kept as well as it can be, though it probably gets plenty of guests, including some who don't look after things. Think somewhere between a hostel and a Hilton, maybe a Holiday Inn. It's simple, not fancy, and not for picky travelers. There's a mini fridge, a nice bar sink, and the usual amenities, plus touches like a projector and a bathtub, at least in the suite. Indoor flip-flops are provided, though the ones I saw were used and could use a wash. The bedding was clean and soft. The receptionists were very nice and helpful, and service from the rest of the people in Vn was great.

We had a comfortable bed and a clean room, and I enjoyed staying here. There were a few cobwebs in the bathroom, though, and once the fridge smelled like it was overheating, so I unplugged it every night. There's no lift, so be ready to carry your suitcases up four flights of stairs.

I had a lovely stay. The room I booked matched what I expected, and everything went smoothly. Everyone was accommodating and helped with my requests. A convenient choice if you want to be near Bui Vien.

No elevator and no reception, which made check-in pretty confusing. The location is central, with a 7eleven and lots of restaurants nearby, plus many attractions within walking distance.
