Phu Gia Hotel

We stayed in a mini room for a week and really enjoyed it. It was clean, cute, and comfy. The staff were amazing, kind, and friendly, and we could reach them any time. They helped us with anything we needed. Highly recommended ❣️

The room was spotless, and the reception team were welcoming and spoke really good English. I’d happily come back.

The problems began as soon as we arrived: the elevator crawled, the fridge didn’t work, and there was a kettle base with no kettle. We had no room phone to reach reception, the AC barely cooled the room, and the outdoor units were so loud that sleeping felt like being on a tugboat. We stayed about four days but got water bottles only on the first day. We had moved here because it was the nearest hotel to our original booking, which we couldn’t extend. It turned out to be the worst place we stayed in Vietnam. On our last day, we asked ahead about staying a few extra hours before our evening flight and said we’d pay. Staff agreed, but at noon someone knocked and told us to leave right away. When I explained the arrangement, they moved us to a standard room without a balcony. I didn’t mind switching rooms, but nobody had told us this was the plan. I wouldn’t recommend it. We stayed at seven hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, Sapa, and Hanoi, and this one was easily the worst.

Really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The service was great, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Vietnam.
