For the price, the rooms are simple but comfortable, and the staff really make the place. They were always smiling and greeting me. There are plenty of restaurants and street food nearby, and the main bus terminal is close, so it’s easy to get around the city. A great basic option in the center, especially on a budget.

The day staff were great, and I had no complaints during my two weeks there about the central location or the basics: AC, a fridge, hot shower, elevator, and laundry service. The bed and pillows could have been more comfortable, though. At night, the staff weren’t very friendly. They wouldn’t let my Vietnamese lady friend visit me in the room because she didn’t have ID with her, even though she was clearly over 18. I’d paid for a double room and didn’t appreciate being stopped from having someone visit or stay with me. If you plan to invite friends over, you might want to pick another hotel.
