I've never had a worse stay. The rooms were old, dirty, and very noisy, and the service was awful. Some staff, especially the older male employees, were rude, argumentative, disrespectful, and deceptive with customers. I don't understand why people with such poor education are hired for the front desk.

I stayed here in November and had my worst hotel experience ever. The room was small and moldy, though at first I thought I could put up with it for the okay price and location. What made the stay so bad was the unprofessional service and lack of communication. They didn't tell me early check-in would cost a full day's rate, not even a half day. The receptionist also misdirected me and said I'd pay only for one day. That seemed reasonable since I was there from early morning on the 21st until noon on the 22nd, so I felt cheated by the lack of transparency. When I tried to clear up the mistake, a staff member kept yelling at me violently and uncontrollably. They wouldn't accept any responsibility or apologize for the outburst. There are plenty of food choices, and lots of places are an easy walk away. The location was perfect for me. The staff were super friendly and approachable, and the price felt very reasonable for the area. Highly recommend.

Right across from the markets, the location was fantastic, but the hotel and its service were far below average. The receptionist was picking her nose during check-in and showed no urgency. This was the only hotel we stayed at that didn't provide complimentary bottled water, even though the tap water can't be used for drinking or brushing teeth. The room layout and construction were poorly thought out, with lots of attention to detail missed. We didn't expect much for the price, but there was little to no soundproofing from people on the stairs. There was nowhere for the toilet paper except the shelf above the toilet, and shower water collected around the toilet with no bath mats provided. I feel like there are much better budget options out there.
