Dan was helpful as soon as we arrived, sharing lots of information about the area and tours. His English was fantastic and he was very accommodating. We were right in the center of town, with cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was lovely, and breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend! :)

The staff kept trying to help, and the central location was a plus, but the stay wasn't great. I gave it 3 stars because at about half the price it might have been acceptable. As it is, the hotel feels very expensive for what it offers. We had to pay in cash, which used up nearly all our money and left us very limited during our time in Phong Nha. There are no ATMs nearby without high fees, and there have even been cases of credit card data being stolen. I don't think guests should be expected to bring enough cash to cover this. The room hygiene was extremely poor. We found ants and several geckos, parts of the room looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the fixtures were rusty and covered in limescale. Soundproofing was very bad as well. The pool was completely dirty and full of dead insects, honestly one of the most disgusting pools I've seen.

The location is central, and the two lovely men at the front desk were wonderful. They carried our bags and showed us to the room when we arrived, then helped us book an amazing tour. Even though we'd already checked out, they let us shower and freshen up when we got back before our sleeper bus that night. Absolutely amazing.

A handy place for an overnight stop, since the night buses arrive and leave here. The staff were really kind, and let us check in early at 04:30 for only 200k extra. We could also get breakfast at the last minute the next morning. The room was clean but nothing special, and the downstairs common area could use an upgrade.
