The Sol House

My stay at The Sol House Hotel, Phu Quoc was very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it. From arrival, the staff made it feel like they didn’t want guests there. There’s no lift, and that hadn’t been clearly explained. One staff member was assigned to help with our luggage but handled it carelessly, so we had to watch our bags the whole time. The rooms were much smaller than the online photos suggested, and ours wasn’t properly cleaned. The bedsheets looked used, dirty and poorly maintained. I attached photos as proof. When we asked for fresh sheets, staff casually said, “Please adjust for today”, because the laundry person wasn’t available. Clean bedding is a basic requirement at a hotel, not an optional service. There was no hospitality or customer care, and the staff were unhelpful and indifferent. The hotel lacked professionalism and cleanliness. If hygiene, comfort and respectful service matter to you, look for somewhere better in Phu Quoc.
