We were first shown a lower-standard room, but the administrators moved us to a better one within 30 minutes. Thanks to them for sorting that out.

It’s an okay place. It could be better if they provided WiFi and bottled water, and did more to manage the mosquitoes.

The toilet was filthy, the paper was poor quality, and the shower was so dirty I couldn’t use it. The room walls need painting too. Two housekeepers spoke to guests with a bad attitude, and the staff overall were horrible. Kids are exposed to smoking and drinking around the adult pools. So unprofessional! 😡

The pool area was pretty nice, and the slides make it a good choice for bringing kids for a day visit. The location is convenient too, close to shopping centres. That said, we came for a place to sleep and found it barely adequate. The room looked clean at first, but the wardrobe was filthy when I opened it. There were no amenities in the room until we asked. It felt more like a hostel room for res students than a hotel, and the furniture seemed a year past its best. By 7pm, loud music and guests outside made the place very noisy. We eventually left around 10pm and didn’t sleep there. They couldn’t even provide something as basic as ice. Staff weren’t easy to find when we needed help, and the way they managed room occupancy was a problem. Someone went around trying each room door. If ours hadn’t been locked, they could have opened it without our consent. They could at least have knocked instead of just trying the handle. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you urgently need a cheap bed for one night. It isn’t somewhere I’d go to relax or unwind.
