Baruch Guest House on Lovell

Everyone on staff was so warm and attentive, which was the best part for us. The guesthouse has lots of charm, is very clean and cozy, and sits somewhere quiet not far from the city.

The studio was sublime and had every comfort we could have wanted. Three weeks ago, after an overnight flight, we arrived with our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, and the staff immediately found her somewhere to sleep when they saw how tired she was. Once she had settled, they looked after us too. It was a start to our holiday we'd never dared hope for. Thank you again.

The hosts really went out of their way to make us comfortable. The decor was beautiful, everything was clean, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and the staff were so friendly. All the amenities we could think of were there. I felt relaxed and spoiled, and this is one of the best guest houses I've stayed in. I'll recommend it and definitely come back soon, even if just for a little getaway.

This is a well-managed guesthouse, though there were a couple of small issues. There was a lingering foul smell in the upstairs room, apparently because the bath wasn't used regularly. The owner/manager tried flushing the system, but the smell came back. It would also help if servers communicated more clearly at breakfast, as we were confused about which hot breakfast options were available.
