A handy place for one night between trips, with great, helpful hosts. There are three rooms with several beds, and everything you need is provided. In the morning, they even run the coffee machine for you :)

Aardwolf Backpackers is close to most of Upington's main attractions, and it's a great choice for travellers on a budget. Our lodgings were clean and safe, with a fully equipped kitchen and good furnishings. The host and her family were so accommodating, and made our visit to Upington easy and enjoyable.

I've lost count of my visits. I sometimes ride between Centurion and Cape Town, and often take the route through Upington just to stay at Aardwolf. It's one of the nicest backpackers I know, with good facilities and a fair price. Liesl, the owner, gives you the warmest welcome anywhere in South Africa. She seems willing to do anything to make guests feel at home and well looked after.

It feels like a home away from home, and it's child friendly too. The owners are welcoming and the price is very affordable. I'll definitely use their services again.

The owners are friendly, and it's very good value for money. I'll definitely stay there again.
