Lunajuim

Very clean, quiet, warm, and pleasant hotel, with great service. Everyone spoke English. The only thing missing was more than one towel hook in the bathroom.

The internet is bad across the whole town, so keep that in mind. The hotel itself is quiet and peaceful, in a great location for this isolated mountain town at the end of the world, where most visitors come for nature. I loved the lobby and connected with the workers, who had great energy and were informative and helpful. The rooms are bare, but the beds were comfortable and it got toasty at night. They also had gluten-free options, and the lunchbox I needed for Laguna Capri was amazing. It felt like the right kind of place for what you get here. 😊

The staff were really friendly, but the room felt like a US motel, with a construction site right outside the window. For that atmosphere, the price seemed quite high.

I’d just left the warm, friendly rooms at Las Piedras and was sad to stay at Lunajuim for two nights because I’d liked Las Piedras so much. My first room smelled at first, but after I left the window open and went for a walk, the odor faded over a few hours. The floors were very clean, even without carpeting. There were large shower towels, smaller towels for drying hair, a blow dryer, and excellent water pressure. The breakfast was good, with something for everyone, and every staff member I met was kind and accommodating. I moved to a different room for the second night, and it didn’t smell at all. That downstairs room was near the lobby and even had wifi.
