The bed was big and comfortable, and the room itself was clean. Beyond that, it was disappointing. For what we paid, we expected a much more private setup. The listing said the bathrooms were private, but only the toilets and showers had doors. The sinks were shared with other guests, and the bathroom was on a completely different floor, which was especially frustrating at night. There were three other rooms in the house, and with more than seven people staying at once, the shared areas felt crowded and not relaxing. With so little privacy and so much sharing, the accommodation didn’t feel worth the price.

We booked through Airbnb because the listing described a private bathroom, but the pictures and description were misleading. There was a private toilet, while the sinks and mirrors were in a communal area. I explained that I have a disability and needed access to a sink, so we had to cancel. For that price, not having a private sink is crazy. It took a long time to hear back because the owner was out hiking and unavailable. We eventually got a refund.

The Yellow house was spotless, with a spacious, well-organised kitchen and a setup that made it easy to meet other travellers. Pilar, the owner, was really helpful and informative. We had a great time there!

We spent five nights at the cottage. It’s a beautiful, really cozy home, and we were comfortable there. We also met some nice fellow travellers. Totally recommend ☺️

The house was lovingly furnished, stayed nice and warm, and had everything we could need. The owner made our stay unforgettable and looked after us even before we arrived. She put so much effort into every guest, helped us plan tours, and gave us great recommendations. Thank you for such an amazing experience. By far the best accommodation on our South America trip!
