I paid in full for apartments through booking com about a month and a half ahead. Two weeks before check-in, they messaged me saying there had been a "double booking" and offered to move me to a cheaper, worse apartment. I declined, and they cancelled my reservation. Other reviews describe the same thing with the same excuse, so it seems possible they list the apartments on several platforms, accept bookings from multiple people, then cancel some of them regularly. Disgusting. Avoid these greedy people.

The audio guides made the visit more engaging, and the museum gives a simple look at Mozart’s life and music through just a few rooms. Mozart’s Apartment in Vienna is a little historic gem in the city center, where he lived from 1784 to 1787. It’s a quick, personal glimpse that’s probably best suited to music fans.

The location is prime, and the room itself was nice, well equipped, with the facilities in the online listing clearly described. Ours faced the street. Traffic wasn’t busy, but there seemed to be a small cafe or restaurant with outdoor tables and benches, where some young people talked, laughed, and giggled loudly until 2 am. Sleeping was a challenge.

It’s about 3 km from the center and MariaHilfestrasse, the main shopping area. The owner was hard to get hold of during our three-day stay when different issues came up, and he speaks only German, not English. The internet and Wi-Fi sometimes failed. There were just 12 German TV channels working, with no music, movies, or kids’ TV unless you paid extra. In my opinion, the rooms are 2-star and only got cleaned easily at the beginning.
