Quest Breakfast Creek

Mike at reception and concierge made our whole four-week stay feel special. No matter the time of day, he was smiling, joking with us, and always kind, considerate, and accommodating. Those little things are what you remember most. The cleaning staff were amazing, and the other services were just as accommodating. Great facilities and the best service. I’d definitely recommend it.

The location is excellent, with easy access to lovely walks along the River and close to the Breakfast Creek Hotel and Rise Bakery Newstead. We had a great stay while visiting Brisbane: the rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the team was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, and we’ll return next time we’re in Brisbane.

Mike remembered my name and coffee order, and even somehow knew I’d cried during a Pixar movie. I didn’t tell him that. He made me feel like the fun sort of royalty, the kind invited to yacht parties and in on where the good snacks are. When he handed me the key, it felt like a sword of destiny, and his smile seemed to brighten the lobby. Need towels? He’s already on his way. Come back from a long flight feeling like you’ve lost the will to live? He’ll bring it back with a dad joke and a complimentary cookie. Confused about minibar prices? He’ll explain them like a TED Talk with interpretive dance. Mike isn’t just a receptionist. He’s a concierge, therapist, stand-up comic, and maybe a minor deity of hospitality. If you don’t get greeted by him when you check in, demand a refund from life. He makes you want to extend your stay, write a song about him, and name your next houseplant in his honor. If the hotel ever loses him, I’ll start a petition, a protest, and possibly a shrine.

We came for a birthday party and had a great stay. The rooms were lovely, big, and clean, and it’s close to Breakfast Creek pub and not far from the city. We’ll come back.
