Central 2-bed With Gym, BBQ & Stunning Views

We couldn't fault anything. The one-bedroom suite was clean, roomy and good value, and the apartments are in a great spot, just a short stroll from shops and restaurants. From the time I booked, the meriton staff were magnificent. The front desk team were friendly, helpful and great to deal with.

We spent seven nights in a one-bedroom apartment and chose not to have it serviced. Whenever we needed amenities replenished, we called reception and they sent them up. There's a QR code in the room with useful details, including which complimentary items you can request. The apartment was spacious and had everything you'd expect in a serviced place. The balcony was large, with a great view, and a friendly cockatoo joined us for lunch out there. The gym is well equipped and also has a great view, and the pool is nice. We were there over New Year and could even see the fireworks from the balcony. The location is handy for shops, the War Memorial and Lake Burley Griffin, all within walking distance. It's also close to all the bus stops, making it easy to get around Canberra. Staff were friendly and efficient.

We had a comfortable lounge and just the right amount of space for a one-bedroom stay. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had utensils and pots for cooking. It even came with a proper full-size fridge freezer, not a mini fridge. Wonderful staff and service, and the housekeeping was spotless. The pool, sauna and gym were another plus, with a great view of Canberra central.

Our one-bedroom apartment felt like a spacious home away from home, with a nice view from the balcony. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the central location put CBD shops within walking distance, with the casino nearby. For the same nightly price, this beats staying in a single hotel room.
